Morphologie de l’étreinte is based on a video sequence, from the silent movie Peter Pan, that has been diverted. The theatricality of the actors gives way to a movement, on the cusp of being a dance. Using a series of still images, the movement creates new outlines, losing itself in its multiplicity. The video appears similar to a chronophotograph, from an aesthetic point of view.
